It's a bit harder now that I've gotten married and moved out. ;)
Oh, the typos are delightful!! I love that; thanks for sharing them! ;) ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282192716843891201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8832410260230794314.post-14653034626028125572013-09-18T10:41:54.874-05:002013-09-18T10:41:54.874-05:00Tialla-I'm glad you think it sounds interestin...Tialla-I'm glad you think it sounds interesting!

Elizabeth-My sister actually came up with the title, so I'm not sure exactly where it came from. I liked it and decided to go with it. She also came up with the title of another book I wrote which I will not be publishing. The weird thing was that not long after I decided on the title for Across the Stars, we got a Star Wars piano book and discovered it was the title of one of the songs. For The Experiment, my sisters and I came up with a long list of possible titles and I picked the one I liked best. Sometimes the title just comes without trying, but other times it's a struggle. So it's different with every book, but I've found that sisters are a big help.

Leah-I'm glad I'm not the only one either!

Perry-I'm glad you enjoyed the samples! I went over my stories a million times myself, my family went over it a lot, particularly my youngest sister, and friends read it as well. So I guess it was really just getting as many pairs of eyes on it as I could. I can't remember there being too many typos in Across the Stars, but there were some interesting ones in The Experiment. (Audrey hazed up at the school instead of gazing, she put her little brother in the ground instead of on it, and there was the time I spelled Anne without an e.) I read Across the Stars out loud to my grandma, which helped me to notice mistakes. I'm too cheap to hire someone when I can manage to get something done for free. :)Morgan Elizabeth Hunekehttp://www.morganhuneke.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8832410260230794314.post-77157344254090186602013-09-17T16:48:17.396-05:002013-09-17T16:48:17.396-05:00Hi, Morgan!

Did you work with a family member, friend, or a hired editor?

Your books look really interesting! :)
PerryAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282192716843891201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8832410260230794314.post-41053940390798305382013-09-17T10:52:43.840-05:002013-09-17T10:52:43.840-05:00Yay! Titles are always hard for me, so I'm always curious to see how others go about settling on them!
Thanks, and it was nice reading about you! :-)
Elizabeth KaiserE.
